windmills for graduates

Windmills works with graduates on a number of levels. Our programmes have helped more than 6000 unemployed and under-employed graduates get on the first rung of their preferred career ladder in Merseyside alone. We also provide career and life management training on in-house graduate training programmes in public and private sector organisations.

The success of our provision for graduates has resulted in the model being disseminated to many other HEI’s across the UK and further afield, resulting in regional, national and international recognition. Numerous Careers Services have embedded Windmills into their training programmes for undergraduates and graduates, equipping them with the skills they need to manage their careers as they progress from academia to employment. Yorkshire Universities enhance their provision by providing their undergraduates and graduates access to Windmills exercises and resources on-line via their intranet.

We worked in conjunction with Graduates Yorkshire to produce a great resource for under-graduates called ‘Job Shopping’. This booklet is filled with practical help and activities for individuals starting out in their career.

Many organisations have also integrated Windmills into their in-house graduate and high potential staff development programmes and schemes to ensure that these individuals make informed choices when applying for roles within the organisation. Roles that they will be happy and motivated in, which will ultimately ensure their personal and development needs are met and that they will utilise their skills in to benefit the organisation too.

If you are involved in helping graduates ensure they are employable and providing them with the skills they need to; manage their career, secure graduate level employment and make the most of their potential please contact us.
