Graduates Yorkshire commissioned us to develop a resource that would provide practical help to undergraduates and graduates just starting out in their careers. Job Shopping is an inspirational, innovative guide filled with activities, practical help, tips and advice for individuals that enables them to; create a picture of their ideal job, explore ways to achieve it, help them to make the most of this initial experience and build on this to create a future that inspires them.
Working through the resource helps individuals to:
- Identify the skills they love using and which are their real strengths
- Create a picture of their ideal job
- Explore new ways of finding their ideal role
- Act with confidence to make things happen
- Create a win-win situation with an employer
